GRANT AMATEUR RADIO CLUB WEEKLY NET PREAMBLE

A few minutes before net starting time: 

This is (call sign), please stand by for the Grant Amateur Radio Club net.

Start of Net:

This is (call sign), my name is (name) and I will be this evening’s net control for the Grant Amateur Radio Club.

This net is held every Sunday evening at 9:00pm local time and we invite all licensed amateurs to check in. This is a directed net, and we ask that you please conduct all communications through net control. Anyone listening may ask questions or leave comments concerning the Grant Amateur Radio Club or this net on our web site. If communications on this repeater is not possible, the NET will be held on 146.550 MHz Simplex.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Before we begin, are there any stations with emergency or priority traffic.

When checking in please give your station callsign, again phonetically, name, location, and indicate if you have any comments, questions, or announcements for the net.

On the net, you as net control may make comments or ask questions as you see fit.  Please keep a dated list of all the check ins by name and call sign.  Recognize all the stations by announcing them and thanking them for checking in.
